Elastography Usage in Renal Patients

Abstract
Ultrasonography has an important role of in the evaluation of kidney diseases. Elastography is a special kind of ultrasound indicating renal fibrosis and has been developed in recent years. In this article we overview the technical features and usage of elastography in clinical conditions such as chronic renal failure, renal transplantation and renal masses in light of recent developments.
