EVALUATION OF RENAL TRANSPLANT WITH RADIONUCLIDE TECHNIQUES

Abstract

This article reviews the nuclear medicine techniques used in the evaluation of renal tranplant patients. We define the radiopharmacueticals used for monitoring renal transplant. Then we explain the different complications and scintigraphic techniques (methods and interpretation) in these situations. We also give some information about new and experimental procedures used for diagnosis with the guidance of literature.
